Meet real DIY bride Aly D! She had a vision and knew she could do it but just needed some guidance. She knew the look she was going for but had no idea where to start, how many flowers she needed… all the things. Our conversation was so fun and exciting as we answered all the DIY questions from how to execute her vision to one of our top questions of “how should I transport all this?” and “how long should this all take?!”. Here’s what Aly had to say:
“I honestly could not have had a better experience when it came to our wedding flowers! I knew from the beginning that I wanted to try and do all of the flowers myself but I quickly realized that it wasn't going to be as easy as I hoped. There are so many resources out there for the DIY bride but there either require you to purchase a predesigned package with some customization or you can buy everything wholesale. I took for granted how artistic someone has to be in order to create beautiful floral arrangements...a skill I don't have! When I stumbled upon Bloom Culture I knew I had found the perfect company for our wedding. They create a custom flower package for you based on your vision and your budget and you get to do the rest! During my consultation, Alison listened to all of my thoughts and ideas and gave me feedback based on her professional opinion. We talked through everything single floral component of the day, from boutonnières to cocktail hour centerpieces, and she helped flush out all aspects of what was in my head. After, she sent me my "floral recipe" and it blew my mind how she was able capture our personalities and the look we were going for in just one conversation. Everything else was so simple. Alison ordered the flowers and made sure they were shipped to our house a few days prior to the wedding. They provide you with incredible resources that make taking on such an important project a breeze. The website has so many tutorials and lists of everything you need to be successful. Alison is amazing and was so kind when I suddenly couldn't remember what address I gave her and she checked my order and sent me the confirmation number to put my mind at ease. You can tell that she truly loves what she does and she gets so much joy from helping brides realize their flower vision. I am so so glad we chose to work with Alison and Bloom Culture for our wedding and I would 100% do it again and I can't wait to recommend them to my family and friends for their special days!
Aly is smart and capable and YOU are too!
