Blooms may arrive tight; allow 1–2 days to fully open.

Stems are sturdy but can split if cut too high—recut cleanly with sharp clippers. Stems are also knobby (have joints) that can snap if handled too roughly.

Avoid direct sun or heat to maintain freshness.

Handle gently; petals can fray if pinched.
