Hydrangeas

Unbox immediately upon receiving. Hydrangea's usually arrive with a small bag of water rubber banded to the end of the stem. Remove this.

Recut stems and hydrate upright for 6–12 hours in cool, clean water.

Remove any foliage below the water line.

Hydrangeas drink through both their stems and their petals—lightly mist heads if they appear soft.

Keep them consistently hydrated; they wilt quickly if out of water.

Avoid direct sun, heat, or strong drafts.

If blooms wilt, submerge the entire head in cool water for a few minutes to help revive.

The use of Allium can help elongate their vase life.

Handle gently; petals can bruise or tear if handled roughly.

Ideal for centerpieces, large arrangements, altar arrangements, and statement pieces due to their size and volume. *Use Allium or a water pick if you are worried about the temperature and longevity in large arrangements that do not have a direct water source.

Excellent for creating a full, lush look with fewer stems.

Can be used in bouquets, but keep hydrated and avoid long periods out of water.

Not recommended for boutonnieres due to delicate petals and water needs.

Available year-round, with peak quality in spring and summer.

Fall and winter availability may include more limited color ranges.
