Peonies

Unbox immediately upon receiving.

Recut stems and hydrate upright for 6–12 hours in a cool location.

Remove any foliage below the water line.

Peonies often arrive very tight; allow 1–3 days to fully open (warmer rooms open them faster, cooler rooms slow them down).

Gently remove outer guard petals if bruised.

Handle carefully — petals are thin and can bruise easily.

Avoid direct heat, wind, or sun to prevent premature wilting.

If blooms open too fast, place them in a cooler space to slow down.

Excellent for bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, and focal centerpieces.

Serve as premium focal blooms due to their large size and lush texture.

Not ideal for boutonnieres due to heavy heads and delicate petals.

Best suited for indoor or shaded outdoor weddings; heat-sensitive.

Due to their higher price-point, we suggest using these in high impact areas such as the bridal bouquet.

Primarily late spring through early summer (April–June).

Some varieties available in fall or winter at premium pricing (import season).
