Unbox immediately upon receiving.

Recut stems and hydrate upright for 6–12 hours; keep in a cool location.

Try to remove any foliage below the water line, these stems are woody and have a lot of small soft needle like leaves. They can shed a lot.

Stems are woody and durable but can split if cut roughly—use sharp clippers.

Blooms and buds may open further after hydrating.

Avoid direct heat or sun; wax flower can dehydrate quickly in warm conditions.

Lightly fragrant foliage is normal.
