Lily - Asiatic White

Bright white lilies with star-shaped, upward-facing blooms and several buds on every stem. These are Asiatic lilies, which have little to no scent, so they work well for couples who want white lilies without a strong fragrance. Each stem keeps opening new blooms through the week, giving your arrangements a full, long-lasting look.

Good to know before you order:

• Lilies arrive as closed buds and take time to open, usually 3 to 5 days. Order them so they arrive early in your wedding week.
• They open faster somewhere warm. Unlike most of your flowers, which you'll keep cool, lilies do best at room temperature or a little warmer until the buds start to open.
• Remove the pollen. As each bloom opens, gently pull off the orange anthers in the center with a tissue. Lily pollen stains clothing, linens and petals, so it's easiest to do it as each one opens.
• Harmful to Cats. All parts of the lily are poisonous to cats, including the leaves, petals, pollen and even the vase water. A small amount can cause serious kidney damage. If you have cats, keep lilies well out of reach while you work and at the venue, and call your vet right away if a cat comes into contact with them.
