Flower Hair Combs

Who wouldn’t wear flowers in their hair?!

Floral combs have gained a lot of popularity over the past few years so we thought we’d share this easy DIY! Combs make a great alternative to a full on flower crown, or you can also use these for your bridesmaids! We’ve even seen them worn by Mothers of the Brides as an alternative to the more traditional wrist corsage.

Supplies:

Snips
Paddle Wire
Card Stock (Select a subtle color here, this is just a structural component)
Hair Comb (You can purchase these from any general store, they have various sizes)
Hot Glue Gun (Any glue gun will do, we use this for the construction portion of the backing, NOT for flowers (sorry to get in your grill about that but hot glue can/will burn the flowers)
Cold Floral Glue (We use cold floral glue for fresh flowers, it adheres in a flexible manor and does less damage!)

Floral Recipe:

Fresh Flowers:

  • Garden Spray roses

  • Spray roses

  • Hypericum Berries

  • Chamomile/Feverfew
